Before we start with the program information, here is a picture of Elizabeth who made and designed this wonderful quilt that instead of raffling it off this year we are just donating to the Grand Haven Lighthouse Conservancy for them to raffle. Check out the blue blocks, they should be familiar to many of you.
What a wonderful fun presentation and trunk show from the Ladies of the Lake Bee in Muskegon. Their Bee started around 1989 and they have met every week for 37 years doing handwork while they visit. Many of their pieced blocks are hand done, and then they usually machine quilt them. They pick a theme, and then exchange blocks or fabric, each person chooses to participate or not. They have made many, many charity quilts, and have used their quilting skills in other Muskegon area functions. Challenge yourself as you look at the pictures to name the patterns. I got caught up looking at the quilts and only wrote one down.
